After a corporate downsizing brought her career in human resources management to completion, Meagan Albury began seeking a different approach to working that would allow her to be creative on a daily basis while still achieving a sense of career fulfillment. A friend encouraged her to learn the art of making candles and she discovered that she loved the entire process. After spending 11 months devoted strictly to learning the craft and continuously testing products, she realized that this was the career for her.  In November 2006 she launched Wicked Cool Candle Company and now finds herself working longer hours than she did in the corporate world, with no sick pay, no vacation pay and no lunch breaks....and she loves every minute of it!

If you have visited our booth at Craft Fairs or attended a Wicked Cool Candle party you have no doubt met Roy Kinzler who handles marketing and promotions. With his successful background in sales and marketing he always has great ideas for clients who would like to have their candles personalized for promotional needs such as fundraising events, weddings, engagements, birth announcements and much, much more. 

Our company logo is actually our dog, Finnegan James. But we just call him "Finn". He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and very, very cool. He absolutely insisted on wearing the sunglasses during his photo session.
